She was born in Springfield on February 26, 1918 the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret May (Britcher) Weider. Betty retired after twenty-one years from Mercy Medical Center where she was an Administrative Manager in the Dietary Department. After retirement she worked for United Senior Services as Director of the Chore Service & Senior Nutrition Program. She attended Springfield Business College, Wright State University and received certificates from the American Dietetic Association. Survivors include her children and spouses, Joe and Nancy Fulton, South Vienna, OH, Ken and Judy Fulton, Springfield and Peggy Holbrook, New Carlisle, OH; seven grandchildren, Ginger Fulton, Joe (Diane) Fulton, Doug (Pam) Fulton, Don (Cheryl) Fulton, Michael (Jennifer) Holbrook, Mark (Shonette) Holbrook and Rob (Dana) Holbrook; eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bowman, Sydney, Jessica, Ryan, Eric, Megan, Jason, Miranda, Zack and Summer; sister, Maxine Murphy, Springfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Joseph G. Fulton in 1987, grandson, Danny Fulton, brother, Robert Weider and son-in-law, Vaughn Holbrook. The family would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to three special caregivers, Vonnie, Barb & Amy for their excellent care of Betty.
