Onesimus Simeon Bell was born on 12 June 1738 in Southold, New York. He died on 18 April 1826 at the age of 87 in Clarksville, Pennsylvania. The Bells of Greene County, Pennsylvania were a prominent family of prosperous farmers, owning a large amount of land. Squire Onesimus Bell moved to Pennsylvania from New Jersey. It is stated that he gave each of his sons a farm and kept two farms for himself. At the age of 75 he married Eleanor Blachly, the sister of Miller and Polly Blachly, who were married to his children, Phoebe and Aaron Bell. Parents: John Bell and Martha Odell.

Spouse: Anna Cossart. Anna Cossart and Onesimus Simeon Bell were married on 14 June 1759 in New Jersey. Children were: Joseph Bell, Nathaniel Bell, Simeon Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Sarah Bell, Anna Bell, Jacob Bell, John Bell, Phoebe Bell, Aaron Bell.

Phoebe Bell was born before December 1780. She died in December 1860 at the age of 80 in Dane County, Wisconsin. The death of Phoebe Bell Blachly is referred to in the journal of Dan Beach Bradley in an entry dated June 27, 1861. Abijah Bemis was born in 1753. He died on 6 December 1829 at the age of 76. Parents: Abijah Bemis and Dinah Hagar.

Abijah Bemis was born on 12 April 1791 in Paxton, Massachusetts. He died on 5 February 1877 at the age of 85 in Marshfield, Vermont. He was buried in Marshfield Village Cemetery. Abijah came to Marshfield sometime after 1806, as did his brothers, Obediah and Daniel, Jr. He settled on the farm where Milton Northrop lived in 1940, later moving onto the farm back of Loveland's ledge where Tom Sicely lived in 1940. He moved there so he could raise wheat. After he had moved, his old neighbor Sylvester Loveland visited him and after mentally comparing his old meadow farm with his new stony hill farm, said to Abijah, "Abijah, where's your dirt?" Abijah married second, Abigail Austin Bemis, the widow of his brother Obediah.

Andrew Jackson Bemis was born on 2 June 1832 in Marshfield, Vermont. He died on 26 January 1892 at the age of 59 in Marshfield, Vermont. Andrew died unmarried. He had asthma. He was a laborer. Never left home. He lived with his parents on Knob Hill in Marshfield until their deaths. At the time of the 1880 census, his father having passed away some years before, his sister Lydia had moved in to the old home with her husband Eli PItkin and two of their children Carrie and Mary. Parents: Daniel Bemis Jr. and Mary Hall Morse.

Anna Bemis was born on 29 April 1714. She died on 9 January 1793 at the age of 78. Parents: John Bemis Jr. and Anna Livermore.
