A Photographic Album 1860 - 1930
A Publication of the Marshfield Historical Society
Compiled and Edited by Caleb Pitkin
This volume was
published in 1998 in collaboration with Hap Hayward, who was the only member
of the Marshfield Historical Society at the time. Many of the photos which
appear in the book were obtained by Hap, either as gifts or loans to the
Historical Society. The photos are accompanied by relevant excerpts from
numerous interviews with local elders which were recorded in the 1970's, and
other historical material.
